Bipolar Sunshine: Love More Worry Less

Bipolar Sunshine is the project of Manchester-housed fellow Adio Marchant, who is no stranger to the stage. His solo project is a wonderful culmination and combination of electronics and lyrics, both of which carry weight and power. 

Grizzly Bear: Sleeping Ute

Grizzly Bear is an American band formed in Brooklyn, New York employing various traditional instruments, in addition to electronic instruments. My ears pick up some serious harmony in this piece, and I like it. A lot of things are going on, instead of only one things, allowing you to not get bored if you've got it on repeat (which you, by all means, should). 

Dream Panther: Chutes and the Ladder

Dream Panther is an American duo who is are rooted in California, the American Midwest and Greek heritages. These cultures blend into the most hypnotic and innovative set, transforming moments into beats, air into water and letting you swim in the moment. Breathe (drink) deeply!

Yeasayer: Henrietta

Yeasayer is an American band based out of Brooklyn, New York, who became famous after SXSW in 2007. Yeasayer describes what it does as "middle eastern-psych-snap-gospel". Even if I knew what that was, I'd likely not disagree. Live, they're a trip. I had the pleasure of doing so, and let me tell you...it's something to be experienced. 

EYEDRESS (production of Miki Hahn): Eye Know

EYEDRESS is the project of Idris Vicuña, who is the lead guitarist of the Bee Eyes. EYEDRESS focuses on psychedelic, slow beat, smooth synth and washed out vocals to produce his effects. His inspirations are 8-bit video games, mistrust, loss and psychedelic drugs, and the result is a pretty good trip. 

Alpine: Hands

Alpine is a fun Australian six-piece, that combine a lot of intriguing sounds with a pleasant voice and a nice face. Alpine is on the rise, likened to Phoenix and The xx, they've definitely got some growth room and are going places with songs like Hands.

Jefferson Airplane: White Rabbit

Jefferson Airplanes was a psychedelic rock group formed in San Francisco, California. Jefferson Airplanes was the first of several Bay-area psychedelic rock bands to receive renown, due to the release of their album Surrealistic Pillow as the "Summer of Love" zeitgeist and psychedelic eras were blooming. 

D.R. Hooker: Forge Your Own Chains

I love what psychedelic rock does to your brain--I'm almost certain there's chemical reactions that occur. There's just something about it, man.
